There are lots of places you can visit in Kuala Terengganu. It is within reach as Anjung Pantai Seberang is in the middle of these attractions.

Teluk Ketapang

It is approximately 3 minutes drive to Teluk Ketapang. Another beach where you can relax and enjoy the view.

If you enjoy walking along the beach, it just takes about 20 minutes to go there.

Teluk Ketapang is where another place you can get Terengganu's signature cuisine - 'Ikan Celup Tepung' also known among the locals as ICT.

There are lots of learning centre in Terengganu. Among of the top local universities is Sultan Zainal Abidin University also known as UnisZa. It is one of the oldest campuses in Terengganu. 

University Malaysia Terengganu well known as UMT started as Center for Fisheries and Marine Science of Universiti Putra Malaysia. Eventually, it was given the status of a full-fledged university, the Universiti Malaysia Terengganu.

Depends on which route you take, it is approximately 14 minutes drive to Unisza and 16 minutes to UMT.

Terengganu offers an array of delectable culinary delights. From the sweet Fried Ice Cream to sour Otak-otak and Satar as well as its signiture Nasi Dagang and Keropok Lekor. You can have more local delights in Terengganu like Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Minyak, Pulut Lepa, Ketupat Sotong (stuffed squids), just to name a few.

Famous Keropok lekor stall is in Kampung Bukit Tok Beng which is not far from the chalet.

Islam Heritage Park
Crystal Mosque

Taman Tamadun Islam (Islamic Heritage Park) presents 22 monuments that show the important landmarks which marked the arrival, development and glory of Islam in the countries. It presents mosques from all over the world across the Asian, European and African continents which include the Masjidil-Haram and Nabawi Mosque.

Located on a man-made island called Pulau Wan Man, Crystal Mosque is also located within the grounds of the park.

You can reach Islamic Heritage Park approximately 20 minutes drive from Anjung Pantai Seberang.

Terengganu Museum

Along the way to Islamic Heritage Park, there is Terengganu State Museum at Kampung Losong. It is the largest museum in Malaysia. Where most of historical artifacts and arts been displayed here.

Inside, the museum prominently displays Terengganu and Malaysia's rich and colourful heritage in its many galleries such as Islamic Gallery, Royal Gallery, Crafts Gallery.

State Museum always perform various activities that showcase the artifacts that provide valuable historical information.

It takes 18 minutes drive to Museum from the chalet.

When people wants to find 'Keropok Lekor' they will remember non-other place than Losong.

This is one of the oldest towns in Terengganu. What facinates about this town that you will find there are lots of streets named after old residents here. There are  Kampung Losong Haji Long, Kampung Losong Panglima Perang, Kampung Losong Atap Zin, Kampung Losong Haji Amar, Kampung Losong Haji Mat Shafie, Kampung Losong Haji Awang, Kampung Losong Megat Husin just to name a few.

Kampung Losong Haji Su is where lots of stalls selling 'Keropok' Terengganu. It is the way to Museum and approximately 18 minutes drive from Anjung Pantai Seberang.

Located at Pulau Kambing, Kuala Terengganu Waterfront or better known as KT Waterfront is a public park built on the bank of Sungai Terengganu.

It offers various facilities for visitors such as Clocktower, toilet, Surau, restaurant and more. Waterfront Park is also very popular with anglers on weekends, the area becomes lively at night, especially Friday and Saturday.

From Anjung Pantai Seberang, you can reach KT Waterfront for 22 minutes drive.

Locally known as Pasar Payang, The Central Market located by the Terengganu River is one of the most popular tourist spots in Kuala Terengganu.

It offers varieties of local merchandise with the price that you can bargain for. Here is where, you can get traditional handicrafts such as batik, silk, songket, brocade, and brassware, as well as fresh produce.

A great place to have a delightful experience the culture as locals do their daily shopping there too.

What makes Anjung Pantai special is that you can reach Pasar Payang by small boat, localy known as 'bot penambang' from jetty not far from our chalet.

Or you can drive for 20 minutes from the chalet.

Istana Maziah
Bukit Puteri Kuala Terengganu

Near Pasar Payang is Istana Maziah. It is the official palace of the Sultan of Terengganu located at the foot of Bukit Puteri in Kuala Terengganu.

You can reach Bukit Puteri just a few minutes walking from Istana Maziah. One of the Terengganu's historic place where once in a 16th century, the place was very important as a strategic point of defense against an enemy from the sea. There is old folk's tale about a legendary princess who lived on top of the hill. The local residents always went to her to borrow utensils such as bowls, plates, or cutleries for their festive events or celebrations. However, since there were a number of people who did not return the borrowed utensils to her, the princess sulked and decided to leave the hill in search for other places where she could help people.

Jetty ShahBandar is situated in front of Istana Maziah. It is a starting point to go to Pulau Redang by boat.

Batu Burok is where you can lay back and relax while enjoying the sea view. See and feel the true essence of Mother Nature right here. Just drive for 20 minutes from the chalet to be there.

Lots of activities here especially during weekends. This stretch of scenic beach is sandy in nature and casuarina trees grow abundantly along the beach. The Cultural Centre is also located here and traditional games, stage performances are on display here on Fridays.

There are parks for everyone to enjoy. There are running tracks where locals enjoy running in the morning while embrace the sun set.

After taking a rest at Pantai Batu Burok, Please make your time to visit 'Masjid Terapung'. It is near pantai Batu Burok or 26 minutes drive from Anjung pantai Seberang.

Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque, Kuala Terengganu was also known as The Floating Mosque because of its uniquely buid up as if it is floating on the water.

Built beautifully on concrete stilts in a man-made lake that flows into the Ibai River in Kuala Terengganu.

The name took after Sultan Mahmud AI Muktafi Billah Shah's late mother as a memorial.
